Family Fun

On our recent trip to Colorado we had a wonderful time just hanging out with everyone. As it turnd out the event became quite a reunion. We were so happy to introduce Katie Grace to (almost) the whole Kissock clan. Kate must have a special connection with Colorado because she slept through the night for the first time and every night that we were there. A very happy event for mommy and daddy.

Happy Anniversary June and Jerr!!

Congratulations to Grandbug and Grandpa Jerr on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Quite an accomplishment for any couple in America today. The party was a huge success with over one hundred in attendance. It was held at a beautifully restored Victorian home and the night turned out to be cool and clear despite the hot summer that they have been having.

Leavin' on a Jet Plane

On August 9th our little family traveled to Fort Collins, Colorado (Tim's hometown), to celebrate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Tim's parents. We were smart this time and made sure that we got a direct flight into Denver. It makes all the difference when you are traveling with infants. All in all things went very well. Although the people sitting around us on the plane may disagree with that description. Ultimately, our flight was on time, we made it to the party, and had a wonderful time. Mary has not yet mastered the use of headphones but they provided a good distraction during the take-off and landing.

Cuddle Time

Aunt Angela got some quiet moments with Katie Grace when she came to visit. We are so grateful that our girls are blessed with wonderful aunts and uncles who love them like they are their very own.

Summer Fun

Mary's favorite pasttime this summer has been swimming at the local pool. This is an important development for us since at one time she was afraid of the water and would not go near it without much coaxing. Now Mary asks to "sim" just about everyday and we gladly oblige.

Katie turns two, too!

Katie Grace turned two months last Friday. She is changing so much everyday. Mostly, she is working on holding her head up and smiling more and more. Kate went to the pool for the first time and stole the show with her pink polka dot bikini.

Party Time!

Our angel, Mary Mackenzie, turned two this weekend. We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Meyer, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Susie, Aunt Angela, Courtney, Nick, and Abby to help us celebrate. Once again, we are so grateful to our families. I can't believe how fast two years have gone by. My wish for her is that she will always know how much she is loved and the joy that she has brought to our lives!
