Mary takes her twelth flight as we head to Dayton, Ohio, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Mommy, Daddy, and Mary had a wonderful time visiting Ethan, Kyle, Kelly, Gretchen, and Hank. It was a white Thanksgiving in Dayton but it didn't stop us from visiting the Wright Brothers Museum and the Air Force Museum.

Halloween Hoopla!
Our Mary Mackenzie was a little lion for Halloween. We had a absolutely wonderful time trick or treating. Initially, Mary didn't understand the concept of taking candy so she kept putting the candy back in the candy dish of those we visited. Around the fourth house she figured out that she could nab a sucker from those bowls so she got the swing of things and began returning the chocolate treats that she was given for a sucker that she recognized. She was having a great time until she got distracted when she saw our neighbor, Kyle, with his mommy. Mary insisted that we follow Kyle the rest of the night - even going to homes that we had already visited. Kyle is eighteen months old and Mary is quite smitten with him. (I think this is the Eleanor coming out in Mary - boy crazy at fourteen months!)

Miss Sunshine
Uncle Bill came to visit the weekend of October 15th. We took Mary Mackenzie to the pumpkin patch where our little cow girl loved playing with the puppies and the sheep. There aren't many things that Mary fears. On Sunday, she got dressed in her Sunday best (a beautiful Lisa Sullivan original) to sit on her front porch swing. Doesn't she spread sunshine wherever she goes! Mary can't wait until her little cousin, Cali, arrives. We hope Kathleen is feeling well and I know she is counting the minutes until the big event. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!

New Home
On June 18 (Happy Birthday to brother Jeff), 2005, we moved into a new home. It was a crazy day that took 8 moving men all day to complete. A big thank you to June (Tim's mom) who provided the moving company. Frank and Eleanor also saved the day by coming out that weekend to help set up the house. Once again, we don't know what we would do without our wonderful families!
